December 2018 Vagabonder Fleet Captain — Denny Ertler

Ahoy Vagabonders. Our last cruise for 2018 to Dock Street in Tacoma was another successful cruise. The Weather Gods answered our prayers and turned out dry but a little cool in the morning. I want to thank Neil Kelly and Patti Dahl for putting together a fantastic weekend. Fourteen boats in total were able to make this weekend. Friday night Happy Hour on the dock and a really great breakfast Saturday morning was enjoyed by all.

Coming up next will be the Lighted Boat Parade and the Special People’s Cruise. Check out the flyers for details.

I would like to express to all my sincere joy and fun I have had this past year as your Fleet Captain. I would like to thank all those who stepped up to help me as Cruise Captains for the various cruises. Your help and planning made my job easier and most enjoyable. I would also like to ask for the membership’s help in 2019 to volunteer for any of next year’s cruises as a Cruise Captain to help your new Fleet Captain Jerry O’Day. It’s an opportunity to really get to know more of the members of the Club and put your own flavor/twist on cruise activities. Enjoy the Holidays and as always, enjoy the water and be safe.
